RULES
We do our best to provide everything you could possibly need for your stay. Please respect our property and our lodge as if it were your own. Door code will be sent to you prior to arrival for front door access. At checkout please take your trash to the dumpster, place dirty dishes in dishwasher and run before leaving. Cover the grill and shut off the waterfall and any lights inside.

No smoking/vaping indoors
Additional fees for over 16 guests. $15/per night per person
Catch & Release Fishing Only
No hunting or tresspassing. Stay in the mowed yard and out of the woods.
No pets allowed unless authorized. Follow state & local laws.
Our story
Melissa Bachman Bearshield & Ben Bearshield both have a deep rooted passion for the outdoors and spending quality time with family. This lodge was purchased as a way for them to do just that and allow others that same wonderful experience. Melissa is a TV host and producer of her show Winchester Deadly Passion and Ben is a game warden in their home state of South Dakota. Together with their 5 children this lodge has become a getaway location to escape the fast paced life and enjoy the peace and quiet. The lodge is located in the heart of big buck country and the amazing fishing and outdoor space keeps everyone entertained.
